Rochelle Embling and Dr Laura Wilkinson from Swansea University are conducting research on food and nutrition in the care sector for older adults.
The researchers are interested in developing new food products that meet the health and nutritional needs of older adults as they may be at greater risk of experiencing poor nutrition. The purpose of this study is to explore beliefs about food and nutrition for older adults from stakeholders involved in the care sector which includes care and extra care facility staff, family members or friends of people receiving care, caterers, suppliers, dieticians, nutritionists, nurses, doctors, social workers, policy makers, business or service providers, and so on.
By filling in this survey you will help gather new insights and help the researchers identify ways to deliver healthy and tasty foods to older adults which are also practical to deliver in a care setting.
