AI in a GP surgery.

What do you think about using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in healthcare?

Sylwch, mae’n bosibl bod gwefannau ac adnoddau allanol yn ddarparu eu cynnwys yn y Saesneg yn unig.

Somebody has a painful hip. They go to their GP and later see a specialist surgeon. As part of their care they have several tests, such as an X-ray and they fill out a questionnaire which asks them about how the pain in the hip affects their day-to-day life, such as shopping or seeing friends. AI technology could take all this information together and suggests if it would be good for the patient to have surgery or not.

CEDAR (Centre for Healthcare Evaluation, Device Assessment and Research) is running a Wales-wide survey to find out what are people’s preferences and worries relating to the potential use of AI technologies in healthcare decision-making. They are looking to hear from anyone who is:

  • At least 16 years old and live in Wales

Or

  • A registered healthcare professional working in Wales and make treatment (or therapy) decisions together with (or for) patients

Fill in the survey today.
