Participation opportunity: UK Survey on using data to aid COVID-19 clinical trial recruitment
Whilst restrictions may be easing, there remains an urgent need to rapidly evaluate and implement treatments to reduce serious complications and transmission of the COVID-19 virus and emerging variants, both within and outside of hospital settings.
A new clinical trial is being set up to assess whether new antivirals (medication used to treat and fight off viral infections by stopping its development) that are specific to the COVID-19 virus are effective in reducing illness and transmission of the virus.
The UK Government Department of Health and Social Care, who are running the clinical trial, has produced a survey to gather views on the acceptability of the study from the public to ensure it meets public needs and look at ways to improve recruitment into the study.
This survey will take about 10 - 15 minutes to complete.
Find out more about the trial and complete the survey.
