The University of South Wales are hosting this year’s Centre for Primary and Emergency Care Research (PRIME Centre Wales) Annual Meeting. The theme of this year's Wales PRIME Centre Wales annual meeting is Accelerating Primary and Emergency Care research: innovation, practice, and solutions within and beyond Wales.

The annual meeting will feature:

  • Keynote speakers in the field of primary, emergency and unscheduled care in Wales.
  • Workshops (tbc)
  • A series of Question or Elevator Pitch style presentations, with a prize for the winning presentation.
  • Poster presentations, with a prize for the winning posters.

Call for Abstracts

PRIME Centre Wales invites abstract submissions for ‘Question Pitches’ or ‘Elevator Pitches’ and Posters on the annual meeting theme or on any aspect of primary, unscheduled, and emergency care research.

  • The three minute in-person ‘Question Pitch’ or traditional ‘Elevator Pitch’. These are very similar in that they are both types of presentations. The former starts with a research question and focusses on answering that research question. Whilst the traditional elevator pitch starts with a statement and proceeds with a statement of key facts.
  • The top three question/elevator pitch presentations will be presented with prizes on the day.
  • The top three posters will be presented with prizes.
  • Please submit your completed abstract template to Lisa.Grifiths@southwales.ac.uk

Deadline

Abstract submission deadline: 5 November 2024
