The Community for Allied Health Professions Research’s (CAHPR) has launched its first Allied Health Professionals (AHP) Research Funding Directory. This extensive piece of work was achieved as part of the CAHPR Accelerator Project (CAP24) which was funded by NHS England and hosted by the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
This free resource provides a comprehensive overview of research funding opportunities available to AHPs across the UK, including:
Four nation government funding
- Chief Scientist Office
- Health and Care Research Wales – Ymchwil lechyd a Gofal Cymru
- Northern Ireland Health and Social Care Research and Development Division
- National Institute for Health and Care Research
- Each of the 14 AHP professional bodies
- All other funders including charities and research councils
