Researchers from PRIME Centre Wales and the Marie Curie Palliative Care Research Centre in Cardiff are undertaking an evaluation of the Daffodil Standards in UK general practice.
Good palliative and end-of-life care are crucial in all healthcare systems, and general practices make a major contribution to this care in the UK. The Royal College of General Practitioners and Marie Curie’s Daffodil Standards provide guidance and support for general practices to sustain and improve various areas of end-of-life care.
The aim of our study is to:
- evaluate the implementation of the Daffodil Standards in general practice, and how they have affected end-of-life care activities;
- identify factors and processes which could lead to wider implementation of the Daffodil Standards.
Fill in this survey to help researchers in Wales improve the end-of-life care in the whole of the UK. This survey is directed at all UK-based general practices.
