How to improve adult social care for seldom heard groups
Mae’r cynnwys hwn wedi dod o wefan allanol ac mae ar gael yn Saesneg yn unig.
Social care aims to improve the lives of people who need help in their daily living. It includes personal care, safeguarding and end-of-life care. This work, and the groups receiving care, can go unnoticed by society. Adults experiencing homelessness, those with learning disabilities and people living with dementia are some of the least heard groups. Research can support the social care sector.
This one-hour webinar brings together findings from three recent National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) studies that could help staff improve the care they provide and enhance our understanding of these areas of social care. Presentations will be followed by a Q&A session.
Join the webinar to learn ways to support:
- Safeguarding for people experiencing homelessness and self-neglect
- End of life planning for people with learning disabilities
- The role of Dementia Champions in the homecare sector
