Research Nurse - Cardiff and Vale University Health Board

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic research nurse to join an evolving research team. The role will entail working as a bispecific research nurse, following a recent finance review and allocation of commercial funds.

A nurse with a vision to improve all aspects of early phase research from laboratory work to early phase studies and biobanking is needed and someone with adequate clinical experience is needed.

The nurse will be responsible for a number of haematology trials and be able to work both within a team and autonomously when required to support patients who are eligible for clinical trials.

The Haematology unit is one of the largest trials units within the University Hospital of Wales and works with a large number of commercial and non commercial trials, providing a vast and variable workload.
