Are you interested in rehabilitation research in Welsh communities?

Join this free professional development event for health and social care practitioners working in the community, typically outside of secondary care hubs, including those with little or no research experience, as well as early and middle career researchers.

They will begin with a workshop, making the case for community rehabilitation research engagement in the UK and Wales, first steps in research, developing research ideas and interactive discussions about a rehabilitation research action plan in Welsh community settings and making successful research proposals. Followed by diverse case studies of community rehabilitation research in Wales for inspiration and a Q&A.

Learning outcomes   

1. Understand the importance of research engagement in the UK health and social care community rehabilitation landscape, with a focus on Wales. 
2. Understand different levels of research activity and how to take the first steps into research activity. 
3. Consider what is needed to help ideas grow into high quality research proposals.
